Just created a portrait as a gift for a friend, philosopher and guide – Sanjay Sayaniji, who was the editor of the Times of India supplements when I frolicked with my cartoons and articles during my two year sojourn in Pune ( where I was doing my Masters in Mass Comm from SIMC ).
This is a portrait of his friend. Hope you like the work, uncle!

Another caricature bites the dust – or, if the caricature is to be believed, settles itself solemnly in it ( the dust, i mean ).
Have fun seeing the pic of Gaddafi senior folks. Can’t help reminding myself that this must be about the millionth cartoon / caricature of Gaddafi circulating around.
If ever there was a guy deserving of a Guinness Record ( well, even for such a weird cause ), it’s the late lamented ( or maybe not in some cases ) Gaddafiji.

And what a bomb-blastic mood Mr. Sehwag was in, on the eve of the 4th ODI between India and the Windies.
He tore, he cut, he charged, he blasted, he thwacked, he did many other things that can or cannot be imagined with a willow to the sometimes good, sometimes hopeless balls delivered to him.

Here’s a tribute to his superb double century – we will await another such spectacle again from you, Viroo!

Hi folks, I just did a couple of caricatures for my friend Shankar ( who’ll be getting ‘em signed for me by the very folks the pics depict ).
These feature the current commentary team in action for the India – West Indies ODI series.
Comprising of – Gavaskar, Shastri, Arun Lal, Bishop, Dujon and L.Sivaramakrishnan.

hi folks, here’s my second cartoon for the IPL, following Sachin leading the Mumbai Indians’ charge against the Royal Challengers, leaving the latter banged, shattered and finding themselves totally challenged. No hangovers for this man, just back from the World Cup, and still performing at his top level.

A Knight to Remember

Here’s my first post of 2011, guys.

And it comes almost synonymously with the first victory of KKR in IPL 4.

A trifle sad at Dada being left out, but still was delighted to see a terrific Kallis in super-Kalli-fragilistic form, hitting and catching left and right and bringing about the downfall of the Deccan bowlers and batsmen alike. He certainly seems to have been the one ‘charged’ up last night.

And now he has the Orange cap, with two half centuries in 2 matches. Go Kallis, go!
