I recently conducted a comic workshop under the aegis of the Indian Comic Con, around the end of January,
and had a few mentions in the city’s newspapers – Bengal Post and Hindustan Times.
I’m adding the snippets below.
—
The latter paper’s article focussed more on my comic work and career so far in that domain rather than the workshop itself, but its sensational headline has pricked up many a reader’s ear. ( yeah, yeah, okay, so this metaphor doesn’t work that nicely – i should’ve thought about something to do with eyes and not ears, right? darn! )
What I mean is – a cursory look at the headline, without first wading into the article, could easily give the speculative reader the idea that I’m a penniless artist who has somehow procured for himself a rather dashing suit. Right?

Lookin cool, and calm and composed unlike what you used to be in Pune, a bit on edge. Time has done wonders. Keep looking good and feeling great. The articles read well. Cheers
